Most of my astrophotography was taken deep in the mountains of California, far outside Yosemite National Park. It took long drives on empty roads and late nights setting up out where it’s finally dark enough to see the sky the way it was meant to be seen. Out there, thousands of stars layer over ridgelines and granite peaks, filling the night with depth and scale you can’t find near civilization. Photographing those nights isn’t just about the image—it’s about chasing that rare clarity the modern world rarely lets us see.
